The successful candidate will support the company's practices, policies, priorities and approaches to how the organization organizes, stores, and receives materials and product and while raising the performance level and service of the department to service the needs of our customers.
Position Overview Ensures efficient supply of raw materials to the production and engineering lines as needed.
Understands and utilizes lot numbers for all raw materials.
Ensures all items taken away from the production lines are labeled and accounted for correctly in inventory.
Balances safety, productivity, accuracy, and morale to achieve efficient results in all warehouse activities.
Practice 5S and lean manufacturing tools to utilize space in the warehouse.
Keep all warehouse spaces clean and organized.
Have a good positive attitude.
Strives to be 100% on all transactional moves, pallet label counts and weights of raw materials.

counter balance lift Complete certification on Raymond Swing Reach lift Demonstrates understanding and accuracy on WI-W-8501 & WI-W-8502 (Move transactions for Raw and Finished goods) Demonstrates understanding and accuracy on WI-W-8503 (Reconciling Raw Materials) Demonstrates understanding and accuracy on WI-W-8511 (How to look for oldest lot# and use that first) Demonstrate understanding and accuracy on WI-W-8515 (Creating Process Regrind Gaylord Label) Properly creates pallet labels for each item on a skid Completes daily hand off sheet every day and communicates any issues Performs daily inspection on counter balance 5,000 lb.
lift Performs daily inspection on Raymond Swing reach lift The Essential Functions of a Material Handler II Include All essential functions of Material Handler I Maintains 5S assigned cleaning schedule Ability to read BOMs and decipher all important information Ability to read and utilize Reschcor blue prints for important information (and print) Demonstrates ability to follow packaging instructions to build customer specific packaging (and print) Performs routine clean out/lock out procedures of all grinders on the production line Performs procedures to combine partial gaylords of same lot or regrind and correct inventory label Demonstrates understanding and accuracy on WI-W-8515 (Split scanned label amounts of sorted through product) Demonstrates understanding and accuracy on how to look up what material an item # is required Demonstrates understanding and accuracy on how to make a BL # for an overmix, including understanding the percentage of what materials are included in the overmix The Essential Functions of a Material Handler III Include All essential functions for Material Handler I and II Demonstrates understanding and accuracy on WI-W-8505 (How to make a pick ticket) Performs weekly reports Demonstrates understanding and accuracy on WI-W-8510 (Stage and convert inventory items to shipment Demonstrates understanding and accuracy on SOP-19 (Raw Material Weight Verification Process) Demonstrates understanding and accuracy on SOP-22 (Receiving Process) Demonstrates understanding and accuracy on SOP-23 (Shipping Process) Strong ability to receive inventory-controlled items via WI-W-8504 Physical Requirements Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination 1-2 years of warehouse and/or manufacturing experience is strongly preferred for Material Handler I Current forklift license or ability to obtain a license is required Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent safety record Strong time management skills Strong organizational skills Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including:
Outlook, Word, and Excel Experience with MRP systems, IQMS experience is preferred.
Ability to demonstrate high accuracy with the quality of work that is produced Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
