Summary:
the Maintenance Inventory Clerk will perform a full range of duties in support of the plant's maintenance department; load and transport of machinery and/or parts; performing inventory control activities; Assists with the day-to-day operations of the plant's purchasing/maintenance and inventory system.
Maintains an inventory control system for supplies required for the efficient operation of the maintenance department.
Assists the MRO Buyer in ensuring proper inventory levels through the use of a computerized inventory system and physical counts.
Tracks the progression of documentation through appropriate authorized channels.
Issues inventory to work orders.
Performs inventory control duties and cycle counts.
Maintains the parts inventory in a neat and orderly manner.
Maintains inventory records via computer input.
Provided customer service to plant staff.
Electronically receives shipments.
Label deliveries and allocate them following process of First in/First out (FIFO).
Other duties as assigned.
Schedule:

Understanding and ability to adhere to appropriate safety precautions and procedures.
Proficient with a variety of computer applications such as MS Word, MS Excel, and specialized software designed to facilitate the tracking of inventory.
Strong ability to plan and organize work to meet changing priorities and deadlines.
Must be able to effectively perform multiple, concurrent tasks with constant interruptions.
Must be able to differentiate colors.
Demonstrated ability to read, write and perform mathematical calculations at an intermediate level Establish and maintain effective relationships with those contacted in the course of work.
Valid driver's license and ability to load and unload up to 75 pounds.
Strong verbal communication skills.
